Enology Discussion

Purpose

The Enology Discussion list is sponsored by the Texas Agricultural Extension Service of Texas A&M University. The purpose of the list is to encourage and facilitate communications among all individuals interested in the commercial production of wine. The Enology list is an international forum for discussion of wine production practices, problems, research results, marketing, or industry issues. Winemakers, enologists, and educators from more than 20 countries are currently participating in the discussion. One common and powerful use of the discussion list is to post a question, thereby accessing the collective knowledge of the entire list. Additionally, postings can include announcements, research briefs or abstracts, and issues or problems to discuss. All forms of commercial advertising are strictly prohibited. Grape growers should be aware that there is also a companion discussion group called the Viticulture Discussion focusing on commercial grape growing topics.
